Critical Environment Manager
As a Critical Environment Manager you will be reposible for delivery of the 24-7/365 reliability and availability of the Critical Environment equipment.
In this role you will work on our client datacenter located at Middenmeer. As a Critical Environment Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of the 24-7/365 reliability and availability of the Critical Environment equipment in line with the contract. Also, you will manage all operational activities like people management, critical environment operations and maintenance and repair work that support the datacentre, like electrical, mechanical, monitoring, control systems & asset management operations.
Your key areas of responsibilities are as follows.
You provide leadership to and management and development of the CBRE CE employees where needed, including training, recognition/reward and appraisals. You create an 'ownership mentality' that ensures that the culture and standards are at the highest level and consistent with the DCS business unit. Also you audit and monitor the CE team’s efficiency and develop efficiencies and innovations that benefit the client and CBRE.
Safety & Integrity
As the Critical Environment Manager you ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions in line with the CBRE and legal HSE policies and processes for both CE employees and subcontractors. You manage these are effectively implemented during day-to-day activities and perform a regular review.
You manage the annual CE budget and will be responsible for the spend on your datacenters. This includes PO tracking and headcount information. Also, you own and produce the monthly forecasting for billing and budget spend for your datacentres. You are responsible for the timely and accurately preparation of reports (CBRE and client).
Ensure all vendors deliver a quality and competent service and all contractual obligations are met within budget. Negotiate contracts with vendor in line with clients’ budget. Plan and schedule all contractor works on time and ensure all documentation is up to date.
One the key goals is to deliver a performance level which achieves and beats the KPI’s and SLA’s set down in the Scope of Work. During this you create a professional relationship with the key client representatives to create a positive customer experience.
What can you offer to CBRE?
- You are in the possession of a bachelor degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- In addition you can demonstrate 10 years of critical environment management experience.
- You have experience with people management, contract management, finance and business accounting.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of common CE equipment and installations.
- You have experience with HSE guidelines and procedures.
- You can demonstrate a strong understanding of the Dutch and English language (written, verbal).
